Tattoo starter kits, tattooing kits, tattoo beginners
kits, cheap tattoo machines, cheap inks, is what
everybody, who wants to start tattooing, wants to
buy. Is that a wrong thing? We at tattoofreaks.com
believe it's not but there are a lot of 'buts'.
Starter kits for tattooing and beginners kits can
be purchased everywhere, but once you have your
basic kit, what happens then? Does that make you
a tattoo artist? NO. We believe that the
only way for you to become a tattoo artist is an
apprenticeship by an experienced artist. Tattooing
involves a lot more then getting a machine, some
ink and scratch away. What about tattooing techniques,
difference in skintypes, hygiene, sterilization,
needles.
What about the tattoo courses? If you follow a weeks
tattooing course, does that make you a tattoo artist?
NO. Every respected tattoo artist worldwide
started of from scratch, working as a receptionist,
hanging around the tattoo shop all day, helping
with the customers, and most of all showed their
interest in wanting to learn how to tattoo, and
that's when a tattoo artist will decide to train
somebody up and teach you how to tattoo. And they
will tell you where to get your first tattoo machines,
tattoo inks, out of experience. Just showing up
in a tattoo studio and ask if they want to teach
you how to tattoo, will be waved off. Be honest,
why would an artist that you don't know and who
never tattooed you, teach you their secrets about
tattooing?
Regarding the starter kits for tattooing, why is
there somuch difference between the prices? Quality
is the keyword and good tattoo machines and tattoo
equipment are not cheap. If you see that every tattoo
artist has minimum 2 machines, that's not to show
off but with a reason, so why would you, who want
to start tattooing be able to do any nice work with
a starter kit with only 1 cheap tattoo machine,
doesn't make sense does it.
What if you still want to buy a tattoo starter or
beginners tattoo kit? Check out boards, forums,
what names of tattoo supply companies do get mentioned
by professional tattoo artists and then decide to
purchase from that company. Do not buy a tattoo
kit for 300 £, 200 £ or 250 £,
because it will give you nothing!
